What's the name of this movie?

The only thing about it that I can remember most is that a guy is
stuck in TV shows where he must survive the episode until the credits
to move on to the next show. It's a thriller.
The only scene that I remember is where the guy is in an episode with
a blizzard and he (plus some other random guy) is in a cabin and must
find a way to keep warm until the show ends or they'll freeze to
death, and the one random guy had a couple limbs breaking off (toes,
fingers, etc). I'm sorry, but this is all of the movie that I
remember. If ANYONE knows it, please let me know of the name! It's
definately an older movie than 2001.
